Minneapolis, MN (Associated Press) A Minneapolis area man has reported that he has never seen a Billy Crystal movie despite the many titles available and his several previous efforts to see them.
"It's just a matter of time, I guess," stated Harold Hirschkorn, 42, of Ice River. Hirschkorn has rented several of the titles but, as is common among renters, he didn't find the time to view them once he got home. "One thing leads to another, a favorite episode of 'Friends' comes on or whatever, and next thing I know the movies are due back at Blockbuster," he added.
Hirschkorn has picked up "Throw Momma From The Train," "City Slickers," and "that one where he's a New York City cop with that dancer guy (Gregory Hines--"Running Scared")," but had to return them before they became overdue.
He also had HBO for a while and missed the opportunity to see "When Harry Met Sally" when it was shown fourteen times that month. "I kept thinking I would watch it the next time it was on because I had something else to do right then, but I missed it every time and then it was out of rotation the next month," Hirschkorn lamented. "Then Cinemax picked it up, but I didn't want to add another movie channel."
A bricklayer by trade, Hirschkorn is hoping that some poor weather will give him the free time he needs to catch up on some great work by a great American actor. "I hear he's pretty funny, and I saw him a little bit when he hosted the Tony awards," he stated, "so I think his movies will probably be pretty good once I see them."
